VW Golf Mk2 GL TD - - 1995 to 1997


  • VW 70bhp Turbo Diesel (With Intercooler)
  • 4 Speed Box
  • Standard Suspension
 VW Golf GL TDi

By todays standards the Mk2 looks a little outdated but this was the car to have (Except if you were one of those GTI freaks!!).

Diesel, Turbo, Intercooler - fast, comfortable, reliable, good road holding, brakes ok (but could "lock" the front wheels in tricky braking situations), returned 54 mpg

When I think back of the VolksWagen cars, this is the one that got me hooked on Diesel VW's, I gave it a well deserved 4 star Adrian rating but it deserves more so it got 4 to 5 star.

If you dont drive a VW diesel, this is the car that could convert you !!
