Many glorious miles with the 1st service coming in at 16,000 miles

With lots of "wizz bang" extras such as Cruise Control, Parking Radar, Winter Pack etc:- this one is slightly heavier than the standard model, so to make up for it, I had it "tuning box" chipped to 197 BHP .... nice :->>>

OK. It didn't seem to have the build quality of the previous MK4 (Flexible bodywork, rattles & obvious quality issues with finishing the job in the factory correctly - VW take note!!), the fuel economy not quite as impressive (50mpg on a good day), new clutch required at 48000 miles (a common problem with the 150BHP and more pronounced with the 197BHP) but .... a lot of fun driving!!!
