I took ownership of "VeeWee" for the princeley sum of £60.

With diesel fuel in the petrol tank and green moss over the bodywork he had seen better days but with a little work he soon began to smile again.

As you may have guessed, much more than metal, rubber and plastic, this car was the ultimate friend.

The heating was brilliantly hot (enough to keep your chips warm) though the windscreen did have a tendancy to freeze on both sides in severe winters.

Maintenence was easy and infrequent. Just 4 Bolts and the engine could be removed within minutes making even serious maintenance a breeze

This car would be the ultimate car with a big diesel engine in the back, but even without that VeeWee was brilliant - Happy Memories
